Full Name: Serendipity Smith
Age: Looks 19
Date of Birth: Unknown
Birthplace: Probably somewhere in France
Blood Status: Fairy
Occupation: Owner of Borgin & Burkes
Marital Status: Single
Closest Ties: Graisyn Aynsworth, Aude Willoughby, Victorian Jameson, Blythe Veleno
Family: None
Pets: None
Favorite Things: Using people's misery as her entertainment, potions, creating awkward silences in vast crowds, salted caramel gelato, raw meat, Broadway musicals.
Biggest Pet Peeve: People trying to trade fake items for her priceless treasures.
Greatest Strength: Just about everything that comes along with her demon fairy powers.
Greatest Weakness: When angry, she shifts back to her natural form, revealing her true identity.
Personality Traits: Possessive, ignorant, hostile, impractical, systematic.
Background: If Seri was once alive, she has no memory of it. And for how long she's been a fairy, she has no idea. But she fits the role quite well, a mischievous little bugger never having any good intentions. She likes to play with humans, muggle or magical, by changing into people they know and messing with their heads. This can range anywhere from purely just entertainment to actually trying to ruin a person's life. Why? Because it's in her fairy nature. Not to mention she's the demon type of fairy, discovered by humans with the rise of Puritanism hundreds of years ago.
She took the name Serendipity almost one hundred years ago, having such a sarcastic and dark sense of humor. Her name meant an unexpected happening of good luck occuring by accident; what some would call fate. But she was a destroyer of fate, making her name quite comical in a twisted sense. And she took great pride in this. The last name, Smith, simply came from a muggle phone book, Seri finding it to be extremely common and easy to spell. It was the perfect identity to trick simple little humans.
A few years after Voldemort was defeated, she bought out [or so she says] Borgin & Burkes because mysterious, powerful items always caught her fancy. It wasn't hard to do with most Death Eaters and Dark Arts fanatics either dead, in hiding, or imprisoned. She took over the shop and now runs it well; though she takes most of the items sold there as her own. In her spare time she likes to head out into the streets and other shops, causing a little chaos for her own entertainment. She's simply passing time until the new Dark Lord rises and she can help carry out his plans.
